A break-out room for guests of the Hall, the Billiard Room offers views of the Melbourne course and the Melbourne Lodge, the renovated Georgian stable blocks. Situated next to the Library, the Billiard Room offers guests an area to relax, play snooker and for those who are especially interested; three iconic Prime Ministers of the time have portraits hanging on the wall.

Did you know...

It is alleged, that Lord Palmerston in fact died because of a romantic liaison with a housemaid which precipitated his death. However, this has never been confirmed and may be the result of under-stairs gossip which has been spread through generations.
